Guidance Counselling Services Career guidance and individual counselling services are available through the guidance department. Assistance in the selection of programs and courses is both scheduled and available upon request. Students are counselled in planning for careers or entry into post-secondary institutions. Individual counselling services are available for those students encountering personal problems. The guidance department works with Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) and other community partners to provide additional services for students. Students who are considering withdrawing from school are asked to meet with a guidance counsellor. The student will be made aware of the options available including staying in school, changing programs, enrolling in a program outside of school and the availability of work.
